Looking at the history of CBSE Class 10th Result Declaration Date and Time, we have noticed that sometimes the result is delayed by Central Board of Secondary Education. The results may be withheld due to some inevitable reasons and these reasons are listed below:

Reasons Why CBSE Might Delay Class X Results:

CBSE announces the result time and date one day before publishing it officially. However, students start speculating the CBSE Class 10 Result Date way back earlier. While a lot of unofficial media reports claim various result declaration dates and time, we suggest Class X Students calm their nerves and wait for the official statement.

The result declaration takes 1 to 1.5 month from the CBSE 10 Exam Dates. If the CBSE Class 10 Result 2018 is not declared even after 2 months, then we can consider it being delayed. Although CBSE tries to announce the results on time, some circumstances may take a toll on its timely declaration of results. Here’s the list of most probable reasons why the result is delayed:

Due to Elections:  Sometimes board postpones the result dates to avoid a clash with Election Poll Dates. As 2018 is an important year with lots of elections lined up in various Indian states, CBSE might delay the result dates.

Impending Court Decisions: The result process gets delayed if there are any directions from judiciary system to withhold the result until the final decision.

Lack of Manpower to Generate Result on Time: CBSE hires skilled academic staff to ensure the transparency in the result. These teachers and academicians are sometimes unavailable due to their engagement into another project. In lack of the skilled manpower, results are delayed.
