JEE Main 2018 - The result of JEE Main 2018 will be announced on April 30. CBSE has released the JEE Main 2018 Paper I answer key and recorded responses of candidates for both the online and offline exam. Candidates will be able to download the answer key and recorded responses by logging in using their application number and password. Earlier CBSE conducted JEE Main 2018 on April 8 (offline mode) and April 15 & 16, 2018 (online mode). The paper codes for the exam were A, B, C and D. JEE Main Paper I was conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes while Paper 2 for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning programmes. JEE Main 2018 admit card was released on March 12 in online mode. Correction in Aadhaar details was also made available. In case of mismatch in candidates' details in application form of JEE Main and Aadhaar, correction in Aadhaar details was available till March 26. JEE Main is the qualifying test for JEE Advanced for admissions to 23 IITs. The online registration was available till January 1, 2018; last date to pay the fee was January 2. The correction window was open from January 9 till 22 and the last date to pay any additional fee to change the category or any other detail was January 23. JEE Main is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted for admissions to UG engineering programmes into 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 CFTIs. Every year, over 12 lakh candidates appear in exam. This year, as many as 11,48,000 candidates have registered for JEE Main 2018, which is 50,989 less than last year.
